I was talking with some of the students in the Computer Science (com. sci.) department today. After about 15 minutes I realized that all those kids are taught, to an advanced degree, is MS Windows. Sure, they are also comfortable with Mac and Linux, but so am I and I am a student of history. Is this what colleges have come to now? Teaching students MS Windows to an advanced degree, and just becoming comfortable with the other two, and that makes these students a scientist? It is really too bad that more isn't taught about Linux. Linux can be used in a F1, a jumbo jet, a ipod nano, or your home computer. There is nothing to fear from Tux.
Why is it that when I search deviantart for Larloch nothing comes up? Yet when I search for Raistlin, there are at least several pictures of him? Not to mention the many of "lich".
I was watching the Boondock Saints some time ago, and it got me to wondering: What is vigilantism and why is it associated with such a negative feel? So I looked up the definition of vigilantism, and surprise surprise there is no mention of negativity there.
